Watching an awards ceremony on TV and watching the same thing LIVE on set is so different!

Due to limited air time, the scenes on TV are cut to perfection whereas at the venue, you get to watch everything behind-the-scenes from what the artistes are doing to what's happening as the crew are preparing the stage and during commercial breaks, which artiste is performing next and interesting communication going on between everyone behind the camera and so on.

The LIVE! performances were totally awesome which is needless to say because the performers are award-winning artistes & those are award-winning pieces; urmm... except for Twins Live performance when I had that =.= expression. Nevertheless, congratulations for winning the popular band award, Twins!

I shall fill you up with plenty of photos I took.
that's why it's call a photo post mah~

Global hosts from Beijing, Malaysia, Shanghai & Singapore.

Pre-event hosted by Singapore hosts, DJs from Fm YES933, Kunhua & Xiao Jia hui bringing the atmosphere to a new 'high' as Kunhua performed Gangnam style with his dancers.

First artiste to receive an award on stage, Qu Wanting from Haerbin. she performed her award-winning 我的歌声里。Anyone can tell she was in an exhilarating state, stammering, 'urm-ing' & sort of having some hyer-tension on stage.

*Long PAPA your Idol!*

Her most popular song, You Exist In My Song, which every other girl is K-ing at KTV pubs these days.

IMG_5754

Wu Jia Hui sang 你愛我嗎.
His falsetto is OMG! Soooooo Goood...

IMG_5757

IMG_5755

Olivia Ong performed 海枯石烂 and You and Me.

The body language when she sang You and Me is something which I badly want to learn from. One can tell how much she's enjoying on stage as she skipped to the beats, smiled, dance a little..

Major Like!

And did I mention she's soooo pretty!

Tanya is so beautiful.

I really like this jazzy song of hers. My V singer class monitor, Sam Peng You performed this song during one of our lessons and I thought it suited him well:

This is the first time I heard of  18 year old 陈芳语 Kimberley from Taiwan.
I like her voice and this song of hers.

From afar, I thought she looked like abit like Yao Yao.

IMG_5765

I've heard of this song a few times on Yes933, but i finally know who the singer is, where she's from and how she looked like. I've always thought Fiona Sit is just an Hong Kong actress, didn't know she could sing so well. Listen to this song from her first chinese album, Better Me.

Look at her figure, it's so PERFECT!

Here's something you will NEVER get to see on TV:

A crew member behind the camera doing this 'pulling rope' action.
He's trying to que the artiste and the host to drag their speech/interviews and keep talking until the stage is ready for the next performance.

IMG_5776

Sometimes it really goes on forever & forever. It came to a point where Zoe Yeung told the host that she really have nothing to say anymore and everyone laughed.

Really last warning. LOL

IMG_5777

But really, it's so interesting to anticipate and then watched how the hosts and the artistes pulled off with random topics, yet looking so natural on camera as if it's prepared. I'm so amazed.

Do you know which artiste interview was the most engaging of all?
The one done by Xiao Zhu(Show Luo) & Rainie Yang!

It made everyone laughed so much and I got stitches in my stomach from laughing too much.
LOVE the duo!

Performance by 曹轩宾 Cao Xuan Bin, who wrote Ke Xi Bu Shi Ni (可惜不是你)in Year 2005 for Fish Leong (梁静如). He was a composer and song writer for many years until he finally cut his first album this year, at the age of 30+.

I learnt that it's never too late to cut an album, as long the passion exists.

JJ Lin did a medley of songs which included his popular Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou (一千年以后):

东山少爷 Dong Shan Shao Ye performed a cantonese song which I don't know if it's even allowed to be played on TV. Ops. He sings beautiful cantonese songs.

IMG_5793

Aska Yang Zhong Wei performed a song I love, Na Ge Nan Ren (那个男人). The lyrics of this song is extremely meaningful: THAT MAN in the song, he made so much sacrifices for the woman he loves ...

Ding Dang and her usual PERFECT LIVE! Performance, wohoooo!

Xiao zhu shouted "Screammmm!" and the whole house screamed, including me and I almost deafened my own ears rofl. I wonder where he find all this positive and high energy to bring up the excitement of the crowd, I wanna learn this too!

Rainie Yang definitely deserves the Best All-rounder Award that night.

First of all, she has improved so much so much in her singing.
She successfully changes her overall image overtime: from the initial cute, to sexy and now to feminine.
Her LIVE! performance is so damn awesome!

She can host, sing, dance & she's so humble!
A comedian, modelling, a natural actress, a funny host and everything an artiste desires to do;
You name it, she does it.

I love you, Rainie!

Songs from his latest album remind his listeners about human values, humanity & these songs act as a wake up call to human to always stay genuine & giving towards others.

Hello Kit Chan!!!
WOHOOOO~ !

IMG_5869

IMG_5871

I don't understand why young audience started to leave when she started performing.
I stayed until the very end.

Kit Chan is PITCH PERFECT.
I personally feel she can sing wayyyy better than any other that day.
She puts so much emotion & love into every word she sings.

*Goosebumps*

I'm ending this post with my favourite song of her, Xi Huan Ni (喜欢你):

SO LOVED. OMG.

Singapore has got many talented singers.

Start to appreciate & realise how good they are first;
not after when they make a name for themselves abroad and think that they are from other countries... =.=

Suddenly not a Photo blog anymore.
LOL.
